Hey friends, hope you had a solid weekend and start to the week. It got above freezing for the first time in a while here in New England, so I'm counting that as a win!
A few quick fulfillment updates for you...
EPIC #5 and EPIC Catch-Up Tier Digital Rewards have been released!
As back-up, we also just sent a message through Kickstarter to backers with alternative links to those digital files... so check your Kickstarter messages if you can't seem to access the Backerkit.
More Than 3/4 of the Surveys Have Been Completed!
With 76% of surveys in, we were able to lock in our print run size and get product ordered, so thanks for being so quick to get those surveys completed.
Note there are still 65 Backers Surveys that have yet to be completed. 7 of those are Pledge Over Time Backers whose surveys will be unlocked shortly after their final pledge payment is made at the end of March.
The action continues in EPIC #6... and we hope to be back here soon after you get your rewards to keep the superhero shennanigans rolling.

While the ComixTribe crew is focused and committed to bringing you awesome new stories in 2026 and beyond, one thing we're also interested in doing is keeping some of our best titles in print AND giving some our our top all-time projects the ultimate prestige hardcover treatment that we're known for.
To that end, one of the DEFINITIVE collections we're looking to release this year, at last, is an OVERSIZED HARDCOVER edition of CHUM, Ryan K Lindsay & Sami Kivelä’s steamy surf noir graphic novel for mature readers.

FULFILLMENT UPDATE
We're moving right along with fulfillment on this project.
1: PLEDGES COLLECTED
We're out of the initial 7 Day Kickstarter Collection Window, meaning that errored card backers who didn't fix their cards have now been dropped.
Not to worry though... if your pledge was dropped by Kickstarter, you will have options to fix, either in Backerkit or by paying us directly. If you have any questions about your errored pledge, just message us through Kickstarter and we'll get you sorted.
Speaking of Backerkit Surveys, we're still working on getting them just right for you all. We hope to have them finalized in the next day or two and out shortly so that you can finalize your pledges and add-ons, pay for international shipping, and get us your shipping info.
2: PAY OVER TIME PLEDGE COLLECTION SCHEDULE
We had 7 backers select the new POT payment option for this campaign.
If you selected the PLEDGE OVER TIME option, which was available on pledges $125+, then only your first of three equal payments has been collected.
All POT backers will have Charge #2 take place on March 1 and Charge #3 take place on April 1 2026.
After that Apr 1 payment, your Backerkit Survey will be unlocked within 48 hour of the final charge going through, and sent to you automatically.
NOTE: POT backers will NOT be able to access their Backerkit Surveys until the final payment is Kickstarter completed.
3: PRINT FILES SENT TO PRINTERS!
As we promised, EPIC was 100% ready to print when we launched the campaign, and even though we won't receive Kickstarter funds for at least another week, we've already placed our large print order for this campaign so we can get you books ASAP!
Note we also placed our Lenticular cover order already. However, our vendor for this product is a specialty overseas shop that is closing for a few weeks do to the Chinese New Year holiday... so the only potential delay we can foresee is orders including the Lenticular cover, which may take an extra week or two to receive due to that holiday.
We'll keep you posted when we have more information.

An EPIC Wrap! Here's What's Next...

Hey friends, Tyler and Matt here! Thanks once again for supporting this EPIC campaign. We wrapped at close to 300 backers and more than 300% funded... and after a longer than expected hiatus, we couldn't ask for better!
The good news is... you won't need to wait long for books. We're doing final proofs of the new issue now, and will send them off to the printer next week, with Digital Rewards going out shortly after Kickstarter completes it's collection efforts!
NEXT STEPS FOR EPIC...
This week, we'll complete the backmatter and finalize print files for the new issue and the trade collection, before sending it over to our printer next week.
We're currently in the 2 week funding freeze period, where Kickstarter is processing pledges on our behalf.
94.3% of pledges have already been successfully processed via Kickstarter. That leaves 17 backers whose pledges have errored. This is a simple fix, and usually means your credit card info with Kickstarter is not up to date.
To update your payment information, simply log into Kickstarter and update your account. (Kickstarter will also send you an email to fix this.)
NOTE: If you're having trouble getting this fixed, it's usually best to try to do it from the desktop vs the phone app, which can be a little buggy. Please resolve those pledges ASAP, so we can get you your rewards without delay.
Next Step: Surveys
If you're new to Kickstarter, you may be wondering how we'll know where to send your rewards, or if you ordered a T-Shirt how we'll get the details on your order. Not to worry...
After Kickstarter finishes doing its thing and collects pledges from all backers, we'll send you a short SHIPPING SURVEY powered by BACKERKIT to fill out which will let you tell us where to send your physical and digital rewards.
Also, while shipping for US backers was included on Kickstarter, we will be using Backerkit to tally up all of our international orders total shipping weights so we can charge you only what it will actually cost us to ship your package to you. We'll be collecting those shipping fees through Backerkit, via Paypal or CC.
Prompt survey fulfillment = faster fulfillment, so we do hope you'll get yours in ASAP after we send it.
Once we get the surveys out, we'll follow up with a time-table on expected rewards delivery.

Hey there, EPIC backers!
First, thanks so much again for your support on this latest launch. This campaign was designed to be short and sweet because we couldn't wait to get this issue in your hands any longer. Matt Zolman and I LOVE creating this book. Our formative years came as Image Comics was getting off the ground, and we love building the EPIC superhero universe. There really are few things more fun...
Which is why I'm THRILLED to be talking to some of the creators behind the SUMMIT COMICS universe, a brand new cooperative indie superhero universe being launched by some of the most prolific names in comics crowdfunding.
I'll be going LIVE with some creators on the Summit Team at 2PM EDT to talk about everything that goes into launching a brand new superhero universe, as well as some of the tricky decisions and challenges of getting a diverse set of creators to all build something cohesive.
The official kick-off of the Summit Universe has begun with the launch of PINNACLE Origins, an anthology style launch book featuring the talents of over 30 creators.
